We prioritize scientific publications, public organizations and documentation from community organizations. The links next to the contents allow you to consult the original information.
The date of documentary consultation indicates when the references were compared. The publication date of a study or testimonial may be earlier. We do not present historical data as if it were current.
Experiences and examples
A testimony tells an individual experience. It does not alone prove the frequency of a problem nor does it allow us to generalize about all people in a group.
Reviews of published experiences include source, context and link to the original. We do not reproduce full interviews, photographs, audios or videos as our own. Fictional situations are explicitly labeled.
A language that respects
We talk about people and barriers. We differentiate diagnoses, identities, practices and social circumstances, without automatically associating an identity with an infection or behavior.
Essential information is presented in clear language. We do not call “Easy Reading” an adaptation that has not been validated with that methodology.
Four languages
The site offers Spanish, English, Portuguese and Croatian. Website translations have been prepared with automated assistance and content controls. Review by professionals and native speakers of the target communities is still pending. Linked documents retain the language of their original publication.
